Agric-tech Startup: Releaf has raised $3.3 million. Samurai Incubate Africa, Consonance Investment Managers, Stephen Pagliuca, and Jeff Ubben contributed $3.3 million to Releaf's pre-Series A round.

The startup focuses on Nigeria's oil palm industry and develops technology that ensures FMCGs have access to high-quality ingredients for their factories.

Its products include the Kraken, a 500-tonne-per-week palm kernel desheller, and SITE, a geospatial mapping application that assists manufacturers in determining the best locations to site operational tools.
